The Muse app on your phone is designed to auto-connect to your Muse device when it is powered on. You will see a purple light on the Muse device when it is ready to connect. Once it connects, the light will go off. If your audio system is connected, you will also hear a "chime" from your phone to let you know Muse is ready.
If you stop using Muse for an extended period of time, e.g. several hours, and your phone is either low on battery or low on memory, the Muse app will gracefully shutdown to conserve your phone resources. In addition, we are actively working on reducing the battery and memory usage of the Muse app and have been improving it with every update.
For best experience, we recommend that you open your Muse app once before starting your morning drive to make sure it is active and ready to go.
